The United States recently witnessed a substantial net influx of $22.65 million into spot XRP ETFs on September 25, signaling continued investor interest despite mounting selling pressure. According to SoSoValue data, investment products are attracting funds parallel to the pressure on XRP sales.
Spot XRP ETF Market Insights
Bitwise’s spot XRP ETF led the influx with a daily addition of $18.39 million, bringing its cumulative net inflow to $677 million. Franklin’s spot XRP ETF followed closely with $4.26 million, elevating its total net inflow to $501 million. Together, all spot XRP ETFs hold total net assets amounting to $1.77 billion, with historical cumulative net inflows touching $1.79 billion, while XRP’s share in the net asset value of these funds stands at 1.80%.
Does Fund Inflow Indicate Market Optimism?
Money continues to flow into spot ETFs despite the weakening XRP price. The data suggests continued institutional interest in these funds that doesn’t always align directly with short-term price movements. The robust inflow continued even following the positive session on September 23, which saw XRP ETFs receiving $18.04 million with Bitwise and Franklin securing the largest shares.
Recent inflows suggest a favorable positioning through spot ETF products; however, these flows mainly reflect capital entering or exiting investment products and do not have a direct impact on the same-day price performance of the underlying asset.
XRP traded around $1.54, marking a 4.6% decrease over the last 24 hours. Its market value also dropped by the same margin to $96.89 billion, while the 24-hour trading volume fell by 22.06% to $4.97 billion.
Strong Engagment with Other Crypto ETFs
Spot Bitcoin ETFs registered a remarkable $134 million net inflow, stretching their positive streak to seven sessions. Leading this was BlackRock’s IBIT fund with $96.99 million, followed by Fidelity’s FBTC fund with $49.32 million. In parallel, Ethereum spot ETFs witnessed $86.95 million in positive inflows, extending their streak to six sessions, with BlackRock’s ETHA and ETHB products recording significant contributions. BlackRock remains a major player in asset management globally.
